Siddall & Hilton Products Ltd was established in 1895 and is the UK’s largest producer of welded wire mesh, which is used for high security fencing, and in industrial and construction sectors.

Production Operative

About You:

You will have experience of using hand tools, such as Allen keys, socket sets or torque wrenches.

You will know how important it is to work safely, and can follow instructions, learning quickly whilst working to a high standard.

A current FLT licence and demonstrable FLT experience are essential. An ability to read measuring devices in both metric and imperial measurements are desirable.

Experience of manufacturing and warehousing would be great, however this is where our brilliant training comes in.

A passion for learning and the desire to become a skilled operator in this sector is essential. With high personal standards you will strive for world class levels of quality, productivity and safety.

What Will Your Responsibilities Be:

  • Loading raw materials to high speed resistance welding machinery.
  • Banding and moving finished products. Loading and unloading wagons.
  • Support machine set-up routines to facilitate product change.
  • Support manufacturing of all product to tolerances.
  • Ensure health and safety protocol is adhered to all times.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are always maintained.
