I have a wealth of experience in driving business evolution and transformation by effectively managing top-notch ERP systems and Business Intelligence technology throughout their entire life cycle. My journey with Siddall & Hilton Products Ltd began in 2014 when I joined as the Financial Controller. After the second buy-out in 2019, I was promoted to the position of Finance Director, earning a place on the company’s board.

I joined S&HP almost 2 years ago, and I love being part of a team that is growing. Life outside of work is all about family, adventures and food. My daughter Erin (10) is a big football and swimming fan which takes up a lot of my spare time. Whenever we get the chance, we are off travelling in our campervan, exploring remote parts of the UK, particularly Scotland. I am a keen cook, and enjoy cycling to burn off the calories, commuting to work on 2 wheels religiously. It’s fun, it’s fast and it’s (almost) free.
I have worked in a variety of sectors- media, airline, retail, and manufacturing since 2002, including a spell managing HR for Cirque Du Soleil after leaving University. Before joining S&HP, I worked in HR for Excel Airways, where I became CIPD qualified, before moving to senior HR roles at Tesco and Nestle. For the last 4 years I worked for Barrett Steel as Group Head of HR, before moving to S&HP.

Dan joined S&HP in April 2021 as a Trainee. After successfully passing his probation, he is studying towards a Level 4 qualification and an ISP award, alongside his daily duties.
Dan deals with a wide range of enquiries and processes several orders daily through internal systems, whilst ensuring concise activity through strong communication. He is thoroughly enjoying the journey so far and he is keen to keep his career progressing.
Away from the office, Dan plays cricket over the summer months. He is also an avid Sheffield United supporter, and enjoys travelling, music, and going out with family and friends.
