About the Award

AFI UK Fencing Industry Awards - Apprentice of the Year

The AFI is the UK's leading trade body for the fencing and perimeter protection sector. Every year their awards recognise the people who raise the bar for all of us.

This is the most prestigious honour available to an apprentice in our industry. It celebrates the people learning the trade properly, putting in the graft, and building something they can be proud of.

  • Industry-Recognised Honour

The most prestigious apprentice award in the UK fencing sector.

  • Trade Body Backed

Awarded by the AFI, the leading body for fencing & perimeter security.

  • A Career Marker

A credential apprentices carry with them for the rest of their careers.

Why It Matters to Us

Built on People
and Precision

Every panel that leaves our factory in Brighouse is made by someone who takes real pride in what they do. That does not happen by accident. It happens because skilled people are given the chance to learn and grow.

"The trades are how this industry survives. Every great fencing contractor started somewhere. We want to celebrate that." — Siddall & Hilton
